Originally posted by srid:I haven't played Darkest Dungeons but from the few I have seen of it, DD is not like that. Thank you for the instructions, probably I will try when play the game. Just wanted to know about that feature.Įven if the characters are switchable (like Darkest Dungeon I assume), to have my own portraits, customized with Photoshop, in my game, is one of the features I most appreciate in any game. Got into Oblivion, again, much more mod-able haha. I didn't even installed the game yet, lol. In classical RPGs like Baldur's Gate and the like, you create a character and stick with him for the whole game, so I understand that you'd want to use a custom portrait, but in DD you change character every 20 minutes so such feature feels much less useful there.Īnyway if you do manage to update portraits to your liking, please share a screenshot! I must say that I don't really see why you would want to do that. Just open the portrait with change it and save it with the same parameters, then reimport it with UnityAssetsExplorer and it will replace an existing portrait. With that you can also replace a portrait with another image of the exact same dimension, encoding and weight. You can use UnityAssetsExplorer and extract assets from the resources.assets file.
